Did my own Oil change today!

Well! finally did my oil and filters change today! K & N transmission,oil and air filter! AMSOIL,and also replaced the drain plugs with the gold plugs that just came in this morning!
Those gold plugs seems be well made! The magnets are strong enough to hold a 3/8 ratchet up on the air! Even though the air filter was a little pain to remove and install, nevertheless i got it done! Maybe is just me, but it seems like the bike has more pep to it! no particles in the magnet of the crankcase plug, just some sludge! No leaks so far! It was worth the effort!

Thanks for the pics of the gold plugs ............. I've said this before, I think the material around the magnets is more substantial ( ie thicker ) than the Dimple plugs........ and this may be why some of the Dimple plugs have Failed ????? ..... Mike :thumbup:
