• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Indian

I hardly ever have to shift after I get into 5th. I can go to a slow as 20mph in 5th gear without it chugging when I roll on the power. It is awesome. The power when you really come on to it can be scary if you are not ready for it. The backrest is to keep me on the bike when I hammer the throttle. :roflblack:

HD RoadGlide

:yes:The Screaming Eagle HD Road Glide looks good.
I just got back into riding recently when i got my Spyder 6 weeks ago and Im having fun with it, however in my new appreciation of motorcycles i came across the Indian line and they are some sharp bikes! Im tempted to pull the trigger this winter on a Vintage or Springfield. Wife says i can have 2 bikes so Im excited :)

Is there a 2 wheel out there that causes you to do a double take and consider getting it?

You are one lucky person. If my health was good enough to heft another nine hundred pounder, I would have one in a heart beat. Indians are good stuff and they continue to refine the product.:firstplace::firstplace::yes:

Back in the day when I did dirt bikes I had a Bultaco 250 Alpina and a Rokon 340 RTII. Now that I'm an old fart I went back to Old School, Honda CB1000. Nice and light and it's a ball on twisty back roads. Picked up a 2014 left over for a killer deal. Honda still has some in stock. Keep the Spyder for touring.

Give me a holler: I'll be happy to float some numbers out there for you!

Awesome, im excited. beautiful bike!

Thanks,
I have a few extras on it like:
custom made handlebars that are 8" longer than stock,
Avon grips,
custom mounted Cree LED running lights,
Russell Daylong seat,
Utopia backrest,
Valkyrie Interstate side bags with custom made mounts,
custom windshield,
semi-custom made highway boards. I made part of the brackets to bring the boards closer to me,
custom made passenger back rest,
I switched out all the chrome bezels for black ones.
I did all the custom work myself.
Next, I am going to powder coat the valve covers and forks black this winter. I just love customizing my rides. Makes them unique.

I did all kinds of stuff to my wife's F3 as well.

It is pretty but....

.....I have a 2014 Valkyrie in black. It is a great bike, but the seat sucked really bad..

All the Hondas I had b4 switching to :f_spider:dom had hard as heck seats. I'd lay down on the cement at gas stops to feel something softer under my bones. Had Mean City Cycles add some fluffy gel softener to my seat on my 750, then I could ride all over the country.

The Indian bikes are really pretty, but I have the tryke I want right now.

Makes Me Want to Ride on Two Again

How about this? My husbands 2015 Christmas gift from me (for the next decade or so). A 2016 Indian Roadmaster in Blue Diamond with custom artwork. This really makes me consider riding on two again, but a 1993 head on collision (I walked away, my custom BMW K75LT was totaled) keeps me on three. I do not think I will ever ride on two..... still, this beauty sometimes gives me pause.nojoke

All the best ..... Ann

Since I'm limited by a couple of useless ankles: I'm giving some thought to going "shiftless"

Electric shiftless! :D

With a 'Wing: it's already pretty easy to get yourself a heel-toe shifter... :2thumbs:
I'm thinking that a much lighter two-wheeler, that I don't have to worry about shifting: might just be a ton of fun!
