There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. I just got back into riding recently when i got my Spyder 6 weeks ago and Im having fun with it, however in my new appreciation of motorcycles i came across the Indian line and they are some sharp bikes! Im tempted to pull the trigger this winter on a Vintage or Springfield. Wife says i can have 2 bikes so Im excited :)

Is there a 2 wheel out there that causes you to do a double take and consider getting it?

No longer....

There was a time but since I started ryding the spyder RS I only regret not getting one sooner and the fact they dropped it from their line. But as good as they are we will ryde off into the sunset together...:ohyea:

well yesterday i took a friend to the dealer that sold my spyder for me. he is looking for a Yamaha that he saw and liked. when we were there i spotted this used 2014 Honda Valkyrie with 4 thousand miles on it. turns out that my friend knows the owner of the bike, and he said the bike is immaculate. i could get the bike for 10,500. i thought about it all night long. but money still plays a big part in making a decision. if i could swing it, the bike would be at my house today.

A Valkyrie ???????

I love my Valk-- I often take it rather than my V-Max or :spyder2: ... :yikes:........ It's the old, slow, '98 modle but it is modded a bit and is not lacking for power, handeling or wind protection. The new Valks are tooooo broad shouldered to me----- but they are a great bike with a bullitproof motor.

Kaos

PS: To answer the OPs question----- a Victory Octane with another 15 horsepower!!!!!

i really like the bike, they are asking 10,999, but i know i can get it for less. but with the funds right now, i can't swing it. i am hoping they sell it fast, so i can stop thinking about it

The Indian Scout REALLY tugs at my heart strings, but I've got a Buell S1 Lightning that doesn't get ridden, a R1100r BMW, 2 F650'gs' a Yamaha XT225 that rarely gets ridden and my wife's TW200 that just sits.

Hi John,

I have a 2014 Valkyrie in black. It is a great bike, but the seat sucked really bad. I had to buy a Russell Daylong for mine. It does have lots of power and is smooth as silk to ride. With the low center of gravity it feels like a smaller bike. But again, the seat is horrible.

For the original OP,
I was never a fan of the Indian until I saw one first hand at Spyderquest. It sure was a beauty. I can see why you love it. I just can't get by that it is a twin, I hate twins. Too much shifting for my liking.

Ive watched a few you tube reviews on both, each reviewer mentioned that it has so much low end torque that you dont have to shift alot unlike the spyder before the 13 series engine.

I hardly ever have to shift after I get into 5th. I can go to a slow as 20mph in 5th gear without it chugging when I roll on the power. It is awesome. The power when you really come on to it can be scary if you are not ready for it. The backrest is to keep me on the bike when I hammer the throttle. :roflblack:
