There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Ridiculous cost for a Spyder tag in Alabama

I just renewed my tags for all my vehicles - Honda Odyssey, Honda Accord, Lexus RX 350, Spyder RT Limited. All the vehicles are 2013 or newer.

The Spyder was my single most expensive tag, well over $200. This was not true in the past and I can't find any explanation for the expense of registering a 3-wheeled vehicle that weights just a touch over $1000 lbs. How does the cost of your Spyder compare to your other vehicles in other states?

It all depends upon how your State decides to fund itself...
My Spyder tag is $36 for a vanity plate...

But I pay almost five-thousand each year in real estate and school tax levies... :gaah:

$44 in Illinois!

Move to Florida

Annual renewal mtcyl tag: $10 New plate, $28. No state income tax. Come on down to central Florida. For what you Northeasters pay in taxes, you could almost spend a day in our over-priced theme parks. ;)

Not to mention the ever-present toll roads.

The best part of high taxes is knowing what good use they're put to.

Here in Pike County Ms they are high also. One of the poorest states with high vehicles taxes. Every time I buy a motorcycle or atv out of state the charge a extra $50.00 for buying out of state. Told them if the dealers would price right I would buy here. They base your tag on blue book value.

tags

maury county tn is 45 dollars for bikes this includes the wheel tax. If its a vanity tag its 25 more. Alabama charges the estimated value of the vehicle each year plus the tag price and wheel taxes. And each county charges different prices. A friend of ours lives in Huntsville ala and the tags for their Goldwing are over 120.00 each year. Tennessee doesn't have a state income tax but the sales tax is 9.75% thou.

Close.....

Here in SoCal....$135.00 and the break down is :
Registration fee....$72
License fee..............56
County fee.................7
extra for vanity plates which I don't have....

tomorrow { too speak of up coming tags ! I will know what tags are ... } for new to me , almost 1 month , getting tags and the title work and so -on , over 200 .oo not sure what tag will be alone ? will try too find out for Indiana ...

Alaska: MC--$30 registration fee. A one time extra charge of $30 for a vanity plate. No state income tax--YET!

My autos used to cost $80 for the registration and $30 (one time charge) for vanity plate.

State now does NOT charge for the first HC plate--and they are
(P)ermanant for those over 65. My latest new car--I keep the plates and they send me a new P tag with the new number. No charge. A second HC plate (two or more vehicles) is $100 additional.

North Carolina is another State that puts a lot of the burden on folks with motor vehicles... nojoke

In NC, aside from fee for which bathroom your Spyder uses, one must pay, at the time of registration renewal, $13.60 for safety inspection, $24.00 for registration renewal and personal property tax wherein if one lives in the independent state of Mecklenburg one pays one of the highest rates in Tar Heel Land. Once every five years the motorcycle endorsement on one's drivers license is $8.75.

In AZ it goes by the MSRP and KBB value. Yearly we were paying $400+/yr. And would go down a little each year. Its rediculous. Since moving to TX its less than $100.
