• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It's a bad link because it contains our dear leader's name and Lamont's curse word filter removes that.

The EPA is cracking down on the production of lead also. Lead will have to be imported at higher costs. Sounds like it time to buy MORE AMMO.

The last lead smelter in the US went away a few years ago. I buy 5 gallon pails of lead wheel weights that get converted to bullets and shot. Many states have outlawed lead wheel weights and sinkers.
 
:shocked: I was gonna have to start looking for some .54 caliber pebbles to launch from my T/C Scout. Now I'll have to start making my own blackpowder... :gaah:

yep... you can trust our government... ask any native American indian... think on this... guns has afforded us freedom from government for 200 years.. what do you think government would have us doing today if we could not own guns ????????

:agree: Our Founding Fathers really did get it right. nojoke They set us up with a system of checks and balances that end with an armed citizenry: ready to defend the Country against foreign OR domestic enemies.
 
I wonder sometimes how many gun owners would, if push came to shove, be able to do what's necessary to protect themselves from a tyrannical government. Not sure if I could, honestly.
 
Unfortunately, there are too many who wouldn't want to get involved, or would be afraid of the consequences.
 
I guess that the "rising tide of Patriotism", would just have to lift ALL of the boats...

Right there with you Bob. I'm too old, was willing to give all when in the US Army. So why not NOW. My son is well armed but with 3 boys might not want to get involed.
