The rear storage unit is also available for the 2016 F3T and F3L models.
When you look @the MSRP , you might come to the same conclusion. There's more passenger room on the RT.I would like the storage, but with that configuration you might as well get an RT
It's undeniable that a larger passenger area with a wider seat; will be more comfortable for the "second chair".I don't understand all of the speculation about passenger comfort ... no one knows until the passenger gets aboard the ship. Obviously there is some passenger comfort currently ... I see a lot of F3's in pictures with the passenger backrest which would lead me to think they carry a passenger. My daughter doesn't complain about being a passenger on my F3.
It really isn't speculation we have tried and for a short distance it was ok. We have not tried 200 or 300 miles at once. The space is somewhat cramped and with the stock windshield the wind issues are severe. So if someone is Ryding two up all the time, the RT maybe a better choice. The only way to tell is to try them both. We have and the RT for us is a better two machine.......but then we don't ryde two up anymore!:yes::yes:I don't understand all of the speculation about passenger comfort ... no one knows until the passenger gets aboard the ship. it all depends on the size of the driver and passenger. i am a big guy, and tend to have a full figured lady on the back of my rt if i give a ride. so it wouldn't work for me
