• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Now that my bike is running right, I'm starting to get some glimpses of what Spyder ryding is about. I'm taking the curves a little quicker and more confidently, and the roads that gave me fits before are getting smoother and smoother.

Thank you all for the constant encouragement through this ordeal. I really appreciate it!

Wait till your comfort level doubles again
You wont believe it!
Been there myself

I love R&R put another dime in the jukebox baby!

The same

I was exactly the same, Stumpy.......For the first couple of days I was taking corners 15kph below posted, thinking "this things trying to throw me off". Now, after a couple of weeks I am taking the corners as fast as I used to on the Vision, and there is obviously more to come.

They're a pretty helpful and encouraging bunch on here, but don't tell them that.....they'll get swelled heads :firstplace:

the laser alignment helped some, but as we were taking the first curve out
of town last night, i finally remembered the prophetic words someone wrote
here for the first time. " pull, don't push ". big difference in curves. only
took me 4 months ! from :banghead: to:yes: irv toms

Everyone to their own comfort, but i find it easier to push with one hand and relax the other when taking turns.

I agree about the speed and comfort while riding ... I have had mine since July 16th.

I love my F3L it is so much fun to ride. Although the weather hasn't allowed me to ride for a week I might have to start over again. :banghead:

+1. I find it far easier to push and use my upper body than just my arms. You can do it how you please and the Spyder doesn't need near the arm wrestle the Gold Wing trike I had required so either way should work.
