• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

DPS bad

Carried it to the shop this morning to have it checked. Shorted to ground. They ordered me a unit and hope it will be fixed sometime next week. Unit and labor around $1700.00 dollars. that's ok because the guy dropped the price on the bike once I told him that it would need changing. So fixing the DPS puts the price back to where I was going to buy it.

Bummer...

Seems things will work out if the seller is comensating for the dps unit. They are costly and there were problems on the earlier models where brp changed them out. pictures when it's your and home with you...:yes:

Will do. I was hoping it hadn't been replaced, but was replaced in 2011. Very clean bike and maybe next week I will get it back.

I figured you needed a new DPS from your other thread. What about the MAP sensor codes you had? Are they gone or are they trying to figure them out?

They didn't mention that at all. Will have to ask about that. I kinda figured also when one of the codes showed shorted to ground.
