• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2017 Line Up - ST Benched?

Better go back and read the tweet carefully and remember what your English teacher taught you about grammar. Something does not sound right.

This is what was said:
"It's in our plan in the near future but thanks for the suggestion!"

BUT

Is this what was meant?
It's (NOT) in our plan in the near future but thanks for the suggestion!

????????
:agree: that the "not" was intended but left out.

I was not fond of my English teacher. Her and the American literature teacher would compete to see who could give most homework (A three page report over holiday weekend..what were they thinking?).

Boring.. they raised the price of the RT but added nothing.... Come on Honda... make a Y trike....

Willy

what do you expect BRP to add. The goldwing has only changed as new technology comes out. BRP has most of the new technology. Well expect for the amphibious or airplane mode.

That goes without saying for ANY & EVERY teacher }~)

I wasn't there but I still care! POW /MIA VETS

No more BLACK RT's. Hmm, do I have a collectors model in my garage now? hahaha
No special colors reserved for the Limited.

BRP did this before, when the RT was introduced in 2010 it was available in black for the 2010 and 2011 models then they stopped making black for the 2012 and 2013 RT lineup but brought it back in 2014.

I'm sure Copper, errr, I mean Cognac, will come back some day!

How about making an RT with all the amazing updates & Farkles we've all done to ours.

Seriously, wouldn't that be something? Sway bars, better tunes, built in cup holders, Blue tooth, etc etc etc..... Just makes sense to me that If I was building a great machine that I would incorporate occasionally the awesomeness that us riders do to our machines that make them extremely better!!!

Thoughts??
Rich

But...

 You would probably kill the aftermarket with a bike like that.
:agree:, but with that said, and with due apologies to BajaRon, BRP SHOULD at least put a decent anti-sway bar, and metal heim joints, on the RT. There is absolutely no excuse for the flimsy OEM bar when beefing it up just a bit can improve cornering to such a remarkable degree. I know some folks are fond of saying the OEM anti-sway bar is suitable for the "average rider" (whatever that is), but after experiencing the difference, that is awfully difficult to believe. nojoke

My wife loves that new Champagne Gold and is what her new 2017 will be. She is 57 so does that make her an "Old Lady"? Lol

At least BRP is actively making changes and improvements! Honda Goldwing owners haven't seen a major redo since 2001! Minor changes in 2006, and some restyling in 2012, but that's it for 16 years! They don't even have much for rumors! :banghead:
Hard to improve on perfection.
