• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

LED lights caused turn signals to blink fast - any ideas?

I just added LED lights to the front fenders of my 2014 RT Limited (Amber & Red fender lower), I already had LED third brake light and saddle bag lights. After adding the new fender lights, my turn signals now blink fast. I have seen the threads about adding resistors. Where do I add them or is there something I can do without having to tear into my latest updates?

Lamonster has a video on how to eliminate the fast flashing using the mode switch! It's my believe that, it only works on the years 14 and up! When I did the lights on my 13 I added a load resistor and it worked like a charm! Good luck with your project!

Try searching on hyper flash. I don't remember the sequence but you hold the emergency flashers for a time and it resets the hyper flash. The problem usually only happens if you have the trailer module installed.

I found it in a thread called Reset Hyperflashing. Sorry I can't give you the link, I'm on my phone and can't figure that out.

The rapid blink is due to a change of load on the Spyder with additional lighting.

Please follow these simple steps:
1. Turn key on
2. Press and hold the hazard button for 30 seconds
3. The cluster lights will flash confirming the calibration has been successful."

Thanks for posting this!
I think that CruzrJoe was one of the first to report on this "fix", that was an added feature on the 2014 models.

My Dad had the same issue with his stock lighting and had him do the "fix" it took care of the problem. The tips that get posted do help
Dealer was ready to replace the rear tail lights.

LED Lights Rapid Blink

Thanks to all that replied to my post on the LED Rapid Blink on my 2014 RT. The holding the flasher button for 30 seconds did the trick. Thankful I do not need to tear into my bike again!!!!
