• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A sign of the times!

Will the economy ever turn around? I just found out that my local Spyder dealership is closing its doors. It was very convenient since they are only 5 miles from my house. :dontknow:

That sucks. I was talking to my dealer a few weeks ago and they seem to be busier than last year. It is sad to see all these people losing their jobs.

What lines did they carry? They will be leaving more than just Spyder owners looking for service.

They were a multi-brand dealer. The good news is they have a newer, sister store within a few miles, which will undoubtedly pick up the slack. Champion was the first place we went to look at a Spyder, but they didn't have any on the floor. Very helpful folks. The sister store had one, but wasn't as helpful or knowledgable. Good looking service department, though, and they did a nice job installing several dealer options for one customer. One fortunate thing about that area of the state is that dealers are more closely spaced than here on the west side of the mitten.

Hey Rando, just catching up on reading all these posts. So sorry to hear your dealership is shutting down. I love ours and it is a small family owned business. I can only hope the economy doesn't do the same to them. I haven't heard anything to insinuate that but in these times, we have to be prepared for it all. If you need anything, I am sure the folks at Nord Ride will be glad to help though. Tell them Deb and Brian sent you.
