3rd oil change on 2014 rt limited

I had the Oil changed at the 9,300 mile mark, does anyone know the recommended ### for the 3rd oil change on the 2014 RT Limited 1330. I have heard anywhere from 13k-19k depending on what dealer I call.

According to your owners manual. Every 9,300 miles or one year whichever comes first. So just changed at 9,300 then the next one is 18,600 or earlier.

Why did you change it at 9300? Shouldn't it be at 12,300 if you did the first service at 3000?

I think if you aren't putting 9k a year on your SPyder, then ANNUALLY sounds perfectly okay with me. Otherwise for
some less-mobile members, that same old "been thru winter" oil can be rattling around in there for 3 or 4 years.

BRP recommended ................on 1330 engines. 1st @ 3,000 miles and then every 9,300 miles or one year thereafter. (EX 3,000 then 12,300, then 21,600 etc.)

Some change it more often but that is what BRP recommends.

Dealer had the mileage for oil changes mixed up with the 990 on the first two. Will not hurt your bike, but harder on the pocketbook.

3000 and 9300 miles later (12,300). Then every 9300 or once a year--whichever comes first.

tell your dealer you want a full refund for the 300 mile change

my dealer had 1st oil change at 600 then at 4500 then at 9300

He owes you a full return, or notify BRP and letvthem know whst dealerbdid to you.

Looks like the dealer saw you coming and lined their pockets with your money. I'd be switching dealers today if that happened to me.

Once again a dealer getting into a customers pocket with false statements.

Then again, if you have owned it two years, you are only 1 extra oil change.

I live in Western NC. I called a particular dealer in the Atlanta area and another one owned by the same group to schedule my 1st oil change for my 2105 rtl. The person on the phone told me I should have been in at 600 miles. I suggested he was looking at the wrong engine and machine. He insisted that their dealer was more cautions and their schedule was different than Can Am.

I told him I would call elsewhere because I was concerned at the descripency but he wanted to double check and call me back. He did and the
first oil change is at 3,000 miles and they would be happy to set it up for me."

I am not sure where you went but...and if you have a service contract, it seems they owe one more service or an oil change is not under a contract.
