• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

WOW, FIRST SPYDERFEST EXPERIENCE

SOOOO much to say, so little time to say it.
1. I now understand what everyone posted over the years about the " Farkle Sickness". Spent way to much time and money @ Vendor Village. Made sure my better half had input into, and got to enjoy some of my purchases (Ultimate Passenger Backrest & Misty Mountain Sheepskin Full Seat Cover). Thanks Bob D for the input on the UPB.
2. Stayed @The Best Western Coach House. Thank You KING Cruzer Joe and Shelia for keeping The Party Going, and making these NewBs feel welcome.
3. It was an amazing experience to finally be able to put faces to names on the forum. I think BRP should stop using "hollywood types" in their advertising/marketing. The real Spyder Lovers are much more interesting.
4. Thank you MO GANG and Pit Bull for ALL the planning and efforts that it takes to pull off such a GREAT event, especially when the weather is intermittently uncooperative.
5. I'd want to give a SHOUT OUT to 2 Vendors that gave this NewB OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE:
A. SpyderAnn01 & CaptJam (SQUARED AWAY). Sorry, I forgot the name of your Louisiana assistant; but thank him for his "push" for me to get the Ron Bar while my RTL was already at SPYDERPOPS.
B. Harvey(SPYDERPOPS) and family.
What a way to get welcomed to the Spyder Family. Hope everyone made it to their homes, or final destinations safely.

Great review...

Sounds like things went well for you at the fest...:clap:now to start saving up for the next one...

Another happy spyder rider.

We had a wonderful week as well. I kept thinking how much preparation must have gone into to making this such a fun event. Meeting new people and going on rides were two of my favorites.

SpyderFest numbers

Does anyone have numbers for how many Spyder's attended the event?
Pictures, etc.

really planned on going but pinched nerve in my neck prevented the trip.

Thank you

Mike, our pleasure! Dax is our friend from Lousiana, and he will be a sister dealer for Rolo laser alignments in that area. He is great! Glad you had a good time, and hope to see you again. Ride up to Kalamazoo when we are there! Joe

Mike did you get your newB certificate? If not PM me your email address and I will send it to you. Glad you had a great time it's always been a very positive experience for me being at Spyderfest.

Ditto...they did a great job. Some improvements could be made, but for our first 'Fest, we were pretty impressed. Spent waaay too much money, but it's worth it. Talking about what we'll do differently next year already. We'll definitely stay at a more "hopping" hotel next time, and hopefully get more riding in.
That darn rain really killed my credit card and checking acct. :banghead:

Mike,
It was a pleasure having you and your Bride as neighbors.
Thanks for keeping me out of trouble, and I'm sorry about the backrest! :D
