• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

There are always questions about how to jack up a Spyder. I do it with 3 car ramps. It's quick and easy and lifts it just enough for most work. Of course if you are going to work on the wheels, this won't do.

Also, note the ramps are facing backwards so you must back onto the ramps. Some folks asked me why I back up. Well if you try to fit the rear ramp under the Spyder, you will soon see it doesn't fit.

The most important thing to remember is, don't back up too far and go off the ramps. That could be very dangerous and also damage the Spyder. I've used this method many times and it works well for me. I do think I will add a stop on the rear ramp to prevent mishaps.

Notice the milk carton under the Frunk. I found that to be very handy to rest the Frunk on so you can take a moment and get things lined up.

I take it you don't have any problem with the rear tire wanting to spin out while climbing the ramp? I see you have them on gravel. That helps tremendously. I've backed mine up to put the front wheels only on ramps. Doing this in the garage on the concrete floor I have two problems. One is the rear tire tends to spin out on the concrete. The second is the ramps like to slide and the front wheels won't climb up them. I've gotten around the latter problem by setting the front end of the ramp on a 2 x 6 with a bolt holding them together. Once the byke weight is on the 2 x 6 they tend to stay in place.

Gravel

You may be right. The gravel holds the ramps in place, they may skid on a smooth concrete floor.
