• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RS Owners with Corbin Fleetliner Saddlebags Question

Crisis

New member
Hi,
Can RS owners with Corbin Saddlebags please share their positive and/or negative experiences after install and use. Big investment, just trying to cover all bases. Thanks in advance.

I have them on mine. I love them and they are worth the money. I can put more stuff in them than my husband can put in his RT bags. And they come with locks too which is nice. Also, if you want to put a hitch on too, you can get the Corbin hitch only if you have the Corbin bags. The hitch works great to pull a small motorcycle camper or trailer.

I've got them on my 08 GS, love the looks, quality made, fit really well, easy to use, it takes 4 nuts to take them off, the only time I remove them is for maintenance. They probably won't fit if you have an aftermarket exhaust. Corbin customer service SUCKS. I bought my Spyder used with them on, there were no keys for them so I emailed Corbin, got no response so I called them. Would only sell me new locks and keys for some ridiculous amount. I found a name on the locks and called the mfgr, new keys came a few days later for under $10. They are not water proof.

Ours are water proof. We have had water before though when the rubber ring was missing from there the latch is. Also, maybe the lids/hinges need adjusted. But they seal and do not let in water, even when we're riding in pouring rain.

IMO, the best looking bags ever for the RS configuration. Cost was a problem for me back in 2008 and 2009, so I ended up putting the GIVI (BRP) versions on my GS/RS then.

My dealer put the Fleetliners on his and liked them a lot. No complaints.

Currently, Corbin is in the doghouse over quality and fit on the saddlebags for the F3. I would avoid them like the plague.
