• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Winter mods on my wife's F3:

I did a few things to make her bike a little closer to perfect:
1. Painted a whiter pearl white, including 3 fenders.
2. Removed "Can-Am" emblem and painted silver scoops satin black.
3. Lowered brake pedal.
4. BRP clutch assist kit.
5. SmoothSpyder tensioner.
6. Custom short Madstad shield, new bracket and side wings.
7. Dual SpyderPops front LED frunk lights.
8. Powdercoated front wheels (will do rear when she needs a tire)
9. Powdercoated muffler heat shield.
10.Amber LED front fender lights.

Trust me, it's a lot easier spending time on other toys when the wife has been shown some attention first! Her F3 has 1300 miles, new oil, and ready for some cross-country trips. Hill Country in TX is probably the first.
The white/black paint scheme mimics the ZO6 we have and the white fenders require much less attention to keep pretty!

7. Dual SpyderPops front LED frunk lights.

Dual lights...So two strips? Just curious if one wasn't enough or if you liked the look of two or something different?

I'm thinking about adding this as well and when I saw the note on the site that said there was room for two sets of LED's I did a little head scratch... I do like the glow coming from your pic... Decisions...Decisions...

I bought one strip and contacted Harvey (Spyderpops) with some improvements/corrections in his installation instructions. As a very nice gesture, he sent me a second strip. I installed it figuring twice the light was even better! One strip is certainly good enough, though.

Been busy.....have we

great job sprucing up the wifes F3. Looks awesome congrats..!! :2thumbs::2thumbs:

Are there any holes under the can am emblem or is it just glued on?

No holes under it. I just heated it up with a hair dryer and used some fishing line behind the letters to cut through the adhesive tape. I prefer a cleaner, uncluttered look on vehicles, so I often de-badge them.

Lowering the brake pedal

I had saw that here before. Can you explain the process? I would like to lower mine so I don't to lift my leg. Thanks.

The process is as simple as drilling another mounting hole for the brake shaft. Do a search and you'll find another forum member that showed it all with pix. I think someone now offers an adjustable shaft for this purpose that would mean no drilling at all. Very nice mod. She doesn't have to lift her leg at all anymore.
