• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I built this lift for my Spyder, it makes it easier to work on !!!
The floor jack lifts it nicely about 28 inches off the floor.

OMG

So your lifting on the swing arm ?
:gaah::gaah::gaah::gaah:.....Seriously, I would not advise doing this. I'm a die-hard DIY'er, but those " A " arms while strong enough for their design.....were designed using the upper part in the equation.......You aren't......I agree with " Big Arm ? where is the rear pad lifting ???.................jmho....Mike ................I love what you've done tho, just a thought, widen the front so the tires are ( on a plate ? )......then maybe two heavy duty screw things that you raise up under the " A " arm closer to the wheel....so the wheels could be re-moved........You are obviously TALENTED, I think you know what I mean and could do it....:2excited:

Nicely done...

Would be awesome if it were low enough to just roll it under. Not enough use to counter sink the lift but it does give you clear access. Congrats..!! :2thumbs:

It looks like a lot of thought went into that lift. Nice touch with the pads at the lift points.

Rear lift point

Rear lift point is just in front of the rear tire about an inch so the tire can rotate
or you can remove the wheel.

ONE INCH

.....If it is really just one inch.....Then it has to be where the REAR SHOCK attaches......I also use this as a lifting point, However I place a piece of wood wider than the Brackets that the BOLT goes thru.........If this is the case with your lift, I hope your's does also..........If that bolt bends ....It might be impossible to get out without cutting it off........just a thought....Mike

I was surprised when I couldn't even get my standard (if there is such a thing) floor jack under the nose of my RTL. I had to build some small ramps to get the front high enough to get the jack under it to lift it up.

How low can you go....
