• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

i am guessing all italians will understand this

My mom and my grandmother both had an assortment so the would not run out when needed
My grand mother had them hanging by the stove
All she had to do was point and we were good

Razor straps... :yikes:
i've seen enough of them from the wrong perspective, that I'm kind of an expert on them... nojoke
To be truthful; I never got anything that I didn't fully deserve... :opps:

Mia madre ha rotto più di uno di quelli sul mio sedere crescendo

Translation: M
y mother has broken more than one of those on my butt growing up

For the first 3 yrs of school, k, 1st, 2nd, I went to a private Catholic School. My teacher was Mrs Pickelwitz. She would pinch, verrrrry hard, your cheek or chin and leed you to the corner. However, if you were particularly bad, you had to hold your hands out, and get wacked in the knuckles with a ruler. Damm did that hurt.... I mean I was told it hurts. :opps:

But, although my experience generally helped me, there was occasions that were very excessive.. Such as if it was hot out, remember 1st, and 2nd grade,
Were told durring resess not to sweat, as later durring class, we would raise our hands to ask permission to get a drink. Which we were promptly told to hold our hands out to get the ruler treatment. :banghead::banghead:. This prompted mom and dad to put us into public schools, think the cost helped that decision. Yep, still experienced the paddle from the principle when I messed up.. can't do that now, can we...

Yes well educated kids also know beware the peach tree (switch tree) especially effective when made to pluck your own punishment tool. (Know the right size)

there was a cafeteria my family would eat out after church most Sunday's. after the meal, each of us kids got to pick out a colored balloon tied to a thin, long wooden stick. kinda schizo was that in a day or three, the balloon would burst and Mom would keep the stick/switch for discipline purposes as needed later in the week. No wonder I'm bipolar !!!

all mom had to do was glance at the broom closet (big leather belt lived there) and whatever the issue was it went away quickly nojoke

Corporal punishment ... a way of life when I was raised in the UK. Maybe the best thing to happen to me in the long run.
Just don't take a day trip to the Isle of Man and commit a petty crime !! Circa 1960 :(
