That article is just a bunch of words. There is no substance in it all that I find. What was the author trying to tell us? I sure can't tell from reading it. I'm not sure if he even tells us the SS is an interesting collection of plastic pieces on top of three wheels! :dontknow:

Slingshot....short drive

A friend recently got one and I took it for a very short drive.
Tremendous power when you hit the pedal. Handling, to me, felt like a sport car. I liked it, would love to have one, but not at expense of the Can Am. Totally different concepts. There are aftermarket tops, sides left open. He had one and an extended windshield. They come with very short WS for some reason. Takes some doing getting in and out; reminded me of
the Xair Ultralight I used to have.

I find most of the write ups to be on the positive side. That's good.

A small number of SL people have been won over. No problem.
