• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It landed and is still in the bottom under the frunk.. i tap the bottom and here it move... which I will hear when i drive i'm sure!

Is the screw magnetic? If so, any chance a small magnet on a string could reach it? :dontknow: (guess the post above me came in while I was writing mine...)

Magnet

Most hardware is an alloy. The battery bolt should stick to a magnet. Try the other one. If it sticks, go fishing! You might be able to remove the pushpins, remove the frunk liner, spot it.

Unless it's Stainless any small magnet will pick it up. Or---four screws removes the front grill. Reach in and grab it.

Okay so I got it done... I took off the grill only to find out it was under another piece that was behind the grill! I was able to get it up enough to put the telescope magnet in to grab it.. it was so weak though and i had to work at it for awhile but got it. I then decided to but the tender to the battery and through a whole i drilled in the frunk like i was shown here... I was told 1/2 inch hole but was to small so I played with it in order to get the end of the tender through.. I got it all done... whew... took a couple of hours but she's sleeping now and I'm on my way to join her lol..:doorag::spyder:

I did the identical thing--could not find the screw--200 miles later I was installing the Baha Ron Sway torsion bar. I removed the lower panel & the screw rolled out to the ground. I'm thinking it falls into a locaton that doesn't bounce out on the road. Just buy a replacement screw from your local hardware store or remove the bottom panel==In my case the loose & replacement screw didn't hurt anything.

PS: When they recommend buying a replacement screw what they really mean is to buy 1/2 dozen along with same quantity of pop-up fastener plugs :-)
