Short Rear Fender

Wanted to see what a short rear fender would look like on my F3, the one BRP offers is nice but not $450.00 nice, so I put this one together in a couple of days. This is only my first attempt have a metal fender on order.

Spyders have a bad reputation for Rooster tails, i think this may be a concern.

I was not aware that BRP offered an alternative fender for the F3. Can you point me in the direction so I can take a look?

This is just a protype for proof of concept. The tag is out beyond tire, will be using licence frame with LED light ght. A roster tail is not a concern I have. BRP's fender can be found in the 2016 accessories catolog $450.00.

Looks good. I have considered it because of the huge reduction in unsprung weight. It should make a real difference in handling. How much do you think that whole thing, tag and all, weighed?

Love the look!!! I was thinking about this mod since I got my f3. Would be nice to find an aftermarket fender for a lot cheaper than what BRP is charging. Good luck and keep us posted on the final product!!! :clap:

Really would like to do something about the Gawd awful rear fender. It doesn't seem as bad as the RS but still don't like it.

WHAT IS THIS REAR FENDER OFF OF OR A PART NUMBER. I WAS LOOKING AT ONE THAT LOOKS THE SAME BUT IT HAD 2 HOLES IN IT. ONE HOLE WAS 5/8 INCH BIG. THANKS IF YOU COULD HELP
