my stock seat has picked up some minor scuffs in th vinyl from contact with shoes while boarding or riding pants...my cleaners and vinyl polished has only slightly helped....and idea on a product ? (I know--by an after-market seat..will do..but just shot my budget on a sports rack and back rest.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

On a more serious note, vinyl can be scratched and marked up...I've never really found any product that works 100% of the time...I'd make my way to Advanced Auto and ask them what is the best vinyl product...I'd say to get a black colored one, but that might end up on your clothing!

Try saddle soap. No guarantee, but it is an old auto restorer's trick for vinyl and rubber. Doesn't leave a sheen like the polishes and tire prep products, and cleans very thouroughly, especially if you use a soft brush. I got the majority of my scuffs out with a simple cleaning with water and Turtle Wax Ice car wash soap, even after Windex Multi-Surface with vinegar wouldn't touch them.
