• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wow..!!

Snow..!! time to trade in the three wheeler for a tri-shovel :roflblack: sorry its a coming but you had a good run. Even here on spyderlovers the problems and issues were few and we did get a better than usual pictorial season. Ah well lets hope for a short mild winter and enjoy those things you do on the off season....what are those..?? :roflblack:

Oh no, Bob, does that mean you'll be riding less and posting more? :roflblack:

Not Far Behind You

Northwest Ohio is supposed to start seeing high temps in the 40's Farenheit next week. Fortunately we're on the Western end of Lake Erie and rarely get lake effect snow here. Temperature-wise we're not much better off though. Our "white fungus" will come not that long after you've already had yours. We've still got some good days yet this week.

We have already had 2 snow storms this year and another coming this afternoon
that's probably the one you are getting next week
so far everything is melting in between storms
been in between 40 and 50 for the passed 2 weeks

Wonder if we can mount a blade on the front? ;-)

Saturday(11/14)Morning

We had a low of 26 degrees. Temperatures are definitely trending down. The weekend has been sunny. I thought I'd better cut the grass for the last time and mulch the leaves before the white stuff arrives.

Bob, you've done it again! I've learned a new term for snow. White fungus is great.

I actually alternate between:
"White Plague"
"White Fungus"
"Frozen Turds"
"Absence of Fun"

and my favorite.... :D

We actually did get to spin 95 miles off of the tires today... It was beautiful up on top of the Shawangunk Ridge...:yes::yes:
It got up into the upper-fifties, and was a great day to be out on the bikes!

You can have the 2 white fungus ( snow) storms, we don't want them. The NE had our share last year, now it is your turn :roflblack:. We can have the mild winter.
This week the temps in the 50's WOHOO!. Deanna

Snow....??? What is snow? Oh, yes, we had a huge snow in 1984, or maybe it was 1986...I don't remember exactly. Anyway, I think it was nearly 1 inch deep....terrible, it was.

:spyder2:

Gee, thanks Bob. As if I weren't depressed enough about my RTL being in the shop for an oil leak while it will be 62 and sunny today. :banghead::banghead:

WIMP

AW COME ON BOBBY... DON'T WIMP OUT ON US..... :yikes:
I LEFT THE HOUSE THIS MORNING @ 6:00 AM, & 32 DEGREES F....

Tender time...

Yup; :yikes: it is basically the same story (forecast) here as well. We have light showers today and tonight and tomorrow, then a cold front moves in and the highs are only to be in the upper 30s and mid 40s, for the foreseeable future. May even see some of that "white fungus" :gaah:

Oh well... I got a few nice miles in yesterday, and before coming home - topped off the tank.

Now, I guess it's time to put the tender on and get busy with the inside stuff. ;)
