• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Are rider floorboards adjustable

I bought my wife the 2015 STS and because of her short stature have made a couple minor mods for her. Now she tells me she wants to raise the rider floorboards an inch or so. Are these adjustable? I know the passage ones are, but just glancing over the riders set I see no adjustment. Any info or advice would be appreciated.

Floor Board Adjustment

I do not believe the floor boards are adjustable. This would mess up the brake peddle and the safety break-a-way for extra brake peddle travel.

I don't think so

I think that the only Spyder with adjustments is the F3.

ST passenger floorboards are adjustable up and down, just loosen the bolt and move it where you want it.
Oops, skipped over the rider floor boards part. Sorry. DUH!!!!!

Aftermarket seat. You may not want to spend the money but the proper seat will move her front and lower and it should be far more comfortable. Lots of options out there. I have an Ultimate seat and I love it as well as my passenger. As mentioned driver floor boards are not adjustable.

I am short-ish too at 5'4" and "second" 900Dave's comments - I now have an ultimate reduced reach seat which suddenly makes everything "fit" - the bars, footboards, etc, all have much better ergonomics for me with this seat. So now I'm riding better, time to look seriously at shocks! lol A bit squashy for my husband - but he has his own spyder so hardly ever rides mine... OR boots with heels eg western style - might be enough.

Great info, thanks. The seat sounds like my best option right now. I'm a little concerned dropping that much money not knowing if my wife will find it comfortable, or if it will work out. But aside from major surgery I think it sounds like the best remedy. Humph, maybe Ultimate has a return policy? I think I'll call and ask them before I order. I will follow up this thread with whatever solution I go with. Thanks again.

Did you decide which way to go?
