• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Short reach handlebar - how hard is it to swap bars?

My wife is about 5'4 and she got the spyder in fall. She kept saying the reach did not make her feel safe and she hated the pegs and wanted boards. So this winter I installed boards and she sat on it last night and said my F3 (2015 as well) felt so much better. I kept looking at the floor boards and they are in the same position (I am 5'9). I like the feel of her handle bars much better and never put it together because mine has a radio bar on the handle bars but we have different handle bars. I believe hers are stock and I have short reach on mine... they are much closer to the rider.
This is a loaded question as well and not sure if this info matters but I bet it does!
I have the manual and she has a SE. I have heated grips and she does not. Those are the big differences.
I do want to get her heated grips, we both want them as we live in Wisconsin.

How hard is it to swap handle bars on a spyder? I have done it before on a Honda Shadow and Yamaha VStar so i have a little experience, but have never removed/added heated grips.

I do want to take both in this spring for oil change, inspection, etc.... and could have the dealer do it if it's that hard, but I do like to tinker myself and save some $$

Was curious the thoughts from anyone who knows about swapping or has done them. If I do swap them, I will make sure to add heated grips to the whole setup. Thank you!

My google skills are clearly not good, I could not find an install to view. Your link hit with another video of helibars on an F3 and it looks the same and looks VERY easy. Thank you Thank you!!!

My pleasure!! I will be replacing my standard RTL bars with a used F3 set when the weather warms up here so will get to tackle a similar project. Good luck!!
Cheers
Kevin
