• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Why Can I Not Ride Mr. Cognac?

Because I had to mow my yard, so in my T-shirt and sun hat, I tackled the front yard. At 81 degrees, I got kinda sweaty. A sad day when your riding buddies come by and hoot you while you are mowing....a sad day.

You may have to get your wife to take a half day off from her second job at the mill!!

I know what ya mean! See my Avatar. I mow 7 acres a week from middle March to middle November. I lose some riding time but if we don't mow often here in the heartland we will have to have it bailed after a few weeks!

A 1,000cc Kawasaki V-twin, 35 Horsepower, 49 ft lbs, 61 inch cut, heavy duty commercial ZTR sure gets the job done though.

It's as close as I've got to a Spyder so far:shocked:

Sam:)

Yard still needs to be mowed

I started mowing the yard Sunday with the plan of finishing yesterday morning. Spyder riding got in the way. As I rolled out the driveway, I told myself that I would mow tomorrow. Well tomorrow is now today and I sure enjoyed riding again today. Just haven't crossed "Mow yard" off the to do list. Maybe tomorrow, well maybe after I ride. Thursday and Friday rain forcasted. I can see myself getting out of mowing the yard.

Just keep mower at lowest setting, next to scalping the yard. If you live in area without ant hills it will be fine. My average is every 3weeks now instead of week &1/2 it was all last year. Also yes im redneck & do not bother watering or seeding yard for the golf course look. Just my yard fo me & pets. Good enough to not get fines from city. Granted only a 3/4acre corner lot still only use push mower. Heres a look from last year

Heck, around ~40 years ago I facetiously told my workmates I was gonna move away because "I would rather mow 11 months a year than ever touch a snow shovel." Well, it finally came true and Boy am I Happy about that! Today I ryded 124 myles, tomorrow I gotta mow, but it only takes me less than one hour to do mine and my next-door neighbor's yard (he suffered a stroke, so I volunteer :doorag:). Mowing is great, but frost-scraping and snow-shoveling are just NOT on my dance-card anymore.

HI George,
I know EXACTLY what you went through...
A couple of weeks ago, the Missus had me digging bushes out of the front yard when a whole gaggle of Spyders showed up...
And I was chained to my Grub-axe! :gaah:

Only way i can post a pic right side up is when someone helps:firstplace::roflblack: THX

totally my pleasure

That's why I live where someone else cuts the grass.

Me too... the "association" cuts the grass, plows the snow, trims the bushes and weeds the lawn.

Here in the Midwest we are getting a nice break in the weather for late Oct and early Nov. I been putting extra miles on the :ani29: as a result.
