• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Debating between f3 and rt.

After reading some post with passenger comfort and bottoming out on the f3 makes me question my decision.

Wife has not ridden on either, but know if she rode the rt there would be no decision.

She likes my rs but have put lots of money in it for our comfort. Ultimate seat ,passenger and rider back rest.extensions for passenger ect ect. We all know about farkles.

I,m only 60 so don't know about all the comfort still feel my oats and like the sportier and cruiser feel.

But have to admit i did ride an rt (by myself) and did like the luxury and storage space.

I am getting the "comfort" vibes about the F3 also. Not sounding like the RT I am used to. Have to wait for spring for a test drive on that limited though.:popcorn::popcorn:

Did test drove 2 f3.
One i put over 100 miles on. Loaner while they were doing oil change.

Like them except for the wind buffering. There is plenty of options for windshields now.

Have dealer ride in next saturday. Will do some looking:yikes:

Tough one..!!

glad I'm not in the market. Though it would be between the others and not the RT....:dontknow: even my wife doesn't want an RT...good luck it's a toughie...:banghead:

Can't help you out with the f3, but I just picked up a 2015 RT se6 limited a few weeks ago and just love it. Very smooth running, shifting is also smooth. The 1330 is a very strong running engine plenty of power, also lots of storage. I am sure you would like it also.

My wife thought she'd be glad to ride lots on the RT-S. I buy because I liked ride; wife not so hot on the sport afterall. I'm still 100% satisfied with my choice. Yes, it's probably not as nimble as an F3, which I have not ridden, but I've plenty of room for longer trips that would require strap on stunts on an F3. I still have lots of fun pushing it in the NC mountains.

You answered your self in first line I think

Enjoy whatever you get---

If you choose less than what your wife would like--
You need to like it a LOT[emoji41]

I had two RTs, a 2013 and a 2014. I enjoyed the heck out of them (when they weren't in the shop). OK, so I had some bad luck mechanically. :) With the positive reviews on the F3, I decided to give it a try. One of the most comfortable bikes I ever had was a H/D Deuce cruiser. WOW!! I gave up storage, but everything else about the F3 suits me better. To give you an idea, I am 5'6". The seating position and handle bar position of the F3 is a LOT more comfortable. I installed driver floor boards and that was an immediate improvement. 28" F4 windshield took away the wind blast. I plan to get some saddle bags as soon as my bank account catches up with my wish list and I should be set for a long time. Both machines are enjoyable, but my choice is the F3! YMMV! :)

I switched from the RT Limited (put over 30,000 miles on it) to the F3. I have over 10,000 miles on the F3 now, and I have to say that I find the F3 much more suited to my "every day rides" and much more comfortable on long rides than the RTL.

I ordered the saddlebags with the F3 and got them as soon as they became available. I also got the urban rack and I have an aftermarket tail bag that I actually haven't had to use on the one long trip that I took, but it's available should I need that much storage. I guess years of backpacking taught me to pack light? I haven't found storage to be an issue yet with the F3.

You know i've got a good horse. Think i'll ride him for awhile.

Shoes are wearing out after 11000 + miles.

Will have to reshoe in the spring maybe Neztley.

BUT if a smokin deal comes along:dontknow:

Doubt it. No body wants to give Crap for trade in and everything They got is (GOLD):yikes:
