• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

No buyers remorse here.....

6,200 miles so far on my F3s and we love it.. The luggage I ordered will be here in a few more weeks and the fact that it is detachable means everything to me.. I'm not interested in any of the new upgrades except the signature light above the grille.. I love the additional F3 models n the changes BRP made to them will give the F3 platform a broader focus... I personally bought mine for the lighter weight and unless I'm on a long ride I personally don't want or need any touring accessories mounted... I will be talking to Len from Pittbull Powersports this week to get a handle on shock specs so I have adequate suspenders for luggage... This Spyder thing is growing every year and seems to be getting better n better... The model I would most like to see from BRP is a High Performance model w swicthable software and 150+ Hp and I would put money on it that it IS coming... 😎

ditto!

over 10,000 miles of smiles on mine and no regrets and I'm happy that I got one of the colors that was discontinued in the 2016 models too.

Today I visited my friend that has a ST I was describing what the new F3 T looks like and then got on the website to show him some photos. He said "that looks a lot like my ST" So I looked at his ST with saddle bags and then looked at the F3T photo and I said "your right, I was thinking that the F3 was looking more like the RT but in fact it is a closer match to the ST"

How funny.

So does this means BRP is still not designing a taller windshield for the F3-S? Thats really the only thing that was missing

I too have no buyers remorse about my wingless griffon :). Although if I bought it now instead of 3.5 months ago, I would have paid over $2100 less than I did (from the same dealership). Oh well, I'll call it a $20/day rental fee ;).

Nice Positive Attitude

I traded in a 14RTL with only 3500 miles and several added accessories. I knew I was going to take a loss but I'm extremely happy and have no regrets, whatsoever!

Bombing around Kauai is like no other riding experience I've had since I was 17 and my Dad was stationed in GITMO.

My wife is still smiling after two weeks with her F3s.

I put on Kappa 40L bags with the universal Givi rack, and the Urban Rack that I got super cheap on eBay. She likes the look of the bags, and always leaves them on.

I just put on a Utopia backrest that I modified from a Yamaha Royal Star Venture. I got it for really cheap, so I decided to make my own bracket to mount it. It turned out really nice, and it's removable.

The next thing we are getting for it is the Custom Dynamics light/signal light for the front grill, and putting on an RT sway bar courtesy of JayBros. She also wants the black footboards from Web Boards, but she has to wait until spring for those.

Really looks great - nice setup:clap::congrats:

Fond Memories.

I had almost 35k miles on the 2010 RS-S in four years of ownership (bought it in 2011). I had been through a lot with that bike and it still brings a smile to my face when I think about the old times.

But that was the past... My F3 is the future, and what damn fun future it is. I'll never get 200 miles on a tank of fuel. Every stop light is a drag strip Christmas tree just waiting to turn green. Watching cages get smaller in my mirror has become my favorite work commute pass time.

It is just pure fun.

Elka Shocks ordered from Whit @Pittbull and John from Elka called me back to double check the specs... I was told there was a 12 week wait on the wing racks from Givi and that doesn't concern me at this point cause I don't have any trips planned for this year... I will get the side luggage and truck mounting sorted out when the snow is flying.. I will also add additional LED driving lights tooooo.. It's doubtful I will consider trading this Spyder for awhile unless they up the HPs on an upcoming model... I really like it a LOT!!!
