• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Your belt tracking is out of adjustment. The gap from the flange to the belt should be 1mm to 5mm max.

the sum between front/rear sprockets- X+Y + 3.25mm +/- 2.75

Or are you stating 1MM to 5MM from rear sprocket flange to the belt

Thanks

Have to agree..!!

with those stating the belt is not adjusted correctly. Also sounds like the wheel bearings are going but hard to say for sure. Had that knuckle grinding sound when my drive sprocket bolt came loose...:dontknow:

If 1 to 5mm is acceptable and you are at 3mm, isn't that
within tolerance?

I ask because mine is exactly like yours..at 3mm.

you have to check the gaps at the front and rear sprocket its in the owners manual under maint procedures

If I could only copy and paste the instruction I would post it here

I guess I am not seeing the problem. My belt is set at 3mm and was just at the dealer a short time ago with the comment that the belt was set "perfect." The spec is 1-5mm off of the rear flange. You are there. The belt does move slightly as you drive. I watched the video and kept looking for a problem. I never saw it.

:agree::agree:
but i'll take a ryde to the man and ask them to check

Visually that looks like more than 3mm but if you measured it and it is 3, your OK. In the video it looked like a lot more!

For me, after adjusting the belt to 3mm, I have had the least of the belt rumble in that mid 70mph range. The tension on my Kricket read 240 lbs. The dealer said they tested the belt tension and found it to average around 1000N. The dealer also said he did not touch the adjustment and "see ya at about 12,000 miles." At 3mm off of the rear flange, the belt looks to me to be pretty much centered on the rear sprocket.

Let us know what your dealer finds.
