• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well, I finally got the saddle bags and I touched them up over the weekend. I still need to LED the back and maybe add a few more touches but this is how she looks now:

I'll put up a couple extra pics and change the Sig pic soon.

I like what you did with the gauge spoiler! Looks great! So do the saddlebags, too!

Thanks. I am still getting used to it, I didn't realize how high the gauge cover was until I shot it white. When it was semi transparent it blended in more. Now it looks like a skull or a helmet on top. I might shoot the rails under it but I am going to hold off for a little till I get used to how it looks now. I am really considering changing that nose cone to white though. I think that is next.

As for the bags... what a pain they were to tear apart. If anyone is interested I could post a little tutorial to save time if they want to paint theirs. Let me know.

They are the way over priced BRP bags. I just don't like chrome much so I made the chrome hinge part white.
Your trike looks great. I have held off on the bags because if the chrome. I would be interested in hearing how you got them apart. Are they plastic or medal? I was wondering if you could powder coat them?

Got 'em too, and couldn't agree more. While the capacity is quiet nice, the quality and materials used are definitely not worth the price of admission. With the benefit of hindsight, I would have kept my money and held out for something better - like the high quality/price of the Corbins.

The BRP part number has been superseded and they are on back order. Maybe just maybe they made some improvements.

The first one was a pain to take apart but I quickly learned. The second one was much easier. They are real deal chrome plated metal. I was surprised how heavy they were. Good thing Platsi-Dip sticks to anything. I took a couple pics on the second disassembly and I will post them in later tonight or tomorrow.

If they did, I will be happy for the people who get better ones and pissed at BRP for charging me $1200 for something that really should have cost no more than $250. Even the rubber seals are poorly installed. One of mine is actually missing a bolt. They come pre-assembled so it was bad Q/A on the part of the company they contracted to make them, not a dealer issue.
