• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got a nice surprise in the mail from BRP today

I got mine today from when we test rode a Sturgis

I would be much happier if they would send me BUDS system so a person could work on their own bike.

When I see that marketing rep this year I will tell him I like the machine, and your customer service sucks. I believe they should be loyal to their customer, and not the independent dealer. I would be willing to bet I have done more for CAN AM sales in my local area then the dealer base of Northern Illinois. I think they should set me up with a scan tool just to say thank you for telling every person that asks 50 question any time I stop any where on the bike. It was ok at first but is getting to be a pain in the ---. It would be just fine if they were all nice looking ladies asking to go for a ride. :chat:

Welcome to the world of spyder ownership nater1. We have had our spyders since March 2008 and we still get questions. Nothing like when they were brand new but still plenty. You have some options, ignore folks, leave yourself extra time everywhere you go, print out business cards with the obvious answers. We have used all three approaches so far. As far as BRP owing you anything, sorry, I disagree. They would have to buy every last one of us one of those scanners, we are all sales people for this spyder. Most of us probably have sold and promoted the spyder more than the local dealers. That is because we love it. After all, we are SpyderLovers. It was my choice to buy this product and I for one am not sorry at all. There are more "+'s" in the positive column than "-'s" as far as I am concerned. So, hey, relax and go out and ride you spyder.

I don't expect we'll get one. Never took a test ride. My wife saw the Spyder on the Internet, looked at one that day (during the winter) and bought hers the next week. First ride was the ride home a few weeks later when it came in.

Me either Scotty I went to buy a 2 wheeler and the wife spotted the spyder and the rest is history. The first time I rode one was mine on the way home. Maybe we should get a special package for buying without test driving. :roflblack: nojoke
