There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. New F3 Accessory: LED Turn Signal Repeaters

This thread announces the brand-new mirror-integrated LED turn signal repeaters for the F3. I loaned my mirror assemblies to the Muth Company so they could make it happen. I am extremely happy with them (the mirrors and the company). No more driving down the road with my signals on because I can't see the tiny indicator on the instrument panel. Also, car drivers to my side can see that I am planning a lane change or turn, a safety feature! Although Muth Co has not finished building a do-it-yourself kit (as they have with the RT), you can send your mirror assemblies to them for modification. That's what I did.

Cost: Chrome glass $189 or blue glass $199, installation $30, return shipping $10. Specify red or yellow LEDs.

I have no connection to the Muth Co and am making nothing on this.

Contact Denise at Muth Co, 800.844.6616 during normal working hours, Central time.

Click the photo below to see how stealth they are, and see video here:

Some notes:
- No resisters are necessary.
- When the LEDs are not flashing, you can barely tell they are there embedded in the mirror glass.
- I had to reverse the two wires on the right side of the Spyder. This is not Muth's problem.
- The LEDs do not obstruct your rear view, the LEDs are very thin.
- They are bright enough to see in the daylight, even through polarized sunglasses and a helmet sun visor.
- There was not the slightest scratch anywhere on my mirror assemblies when I got them back from Muth.
People who know me know I am extremely meticulous about my vehicles.

Could you give us more info on "reversing the 2 wires on the right side" and what is specifically involved in sending the mirror assemblies? Love this item but need some direction to pursue it. Thanks!

Very nice..!!

looks great and work well. As long as they are hooked into the exsisting turnsignals you don't need resistors. Congrats..!! :2thumbs: glad you volunteered your mirrors now they will have them for the rest of the F3 guys...

My Spyder F3 is not wired "properly" meaning both mirror housings worked when plugged into the left side of the bike, but neither housing worked when plugged into the right side.
I simply cut and reversed the two wires feeding the right mirror and it worked. Took ten minutes.I do not know if all F3's are like this. I do recall some RT wiring is reversed; there's
a warning included with some LED accessories from Custom Dynamics.

Really like the idea but don't want my bike down for 2 weeks to send the mirrors. Perhaps they will have kits available soon or advance ship mirrors and return the factory ones for a core charge refund.

Completely understand and agree. Keep in touch with Denise, perhaps she'll start a wait list.

Dave, to answer your question, I removed the two allen screws that attach each mirror arm assembly from the bike, unplugged the two-wire connectors, wrapped the assemblies in bubble-wrap and shipped to the address Denise gave me.

Do Muth Co have a website as I'm going to try and contact them to see if there are DIY kits available yet.

There will likely be a lag between building the kits and posting the info on their website. You should call Denise at Muth Co, 800.844.6616 during normal working hours, Central time.

I just received my completed mirrors from Denise at Muth and wow they are good. Took them to Spain to fit to the bike and I too had the same problem with the right mirror in that I had to reverse the wires, strange eh?

The conversion is fantastic but because of shipping to and from the UK, duties and VAT it was a little expensive.

But still a great safety feature.

Glad you like them Cribby!

I really like this.
The onle thing I'll have to add are two little water isolated switches to disconect them by the Technical Inspection every
two tears in Spain. (ITV)

Everything that is not homologated when the vehicle arrives in Europe is reason of the withdrawal of the circulation license
of the vehicle.

But I think that has a very easy solution.

Maybe one of my next DIMyself.
