• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Key Holder

Here is a picture of the key holder I found on line that does not involve drilling a hole in the key. I ordered 2 so the silver one is on the key and the black one is not. They are a bit spendy but are very well made.

They are a nice-looking piece!
But I went for the cheaper alternative, and drilled the keys.
The chips are encased in plastic, so no harm can befall them!
(Unless you put a drill bit through them! :yikes:)

Would have loved to drill the key but.......knowing myself I can guarantee with out a doubt or any reservation..................well you know

Very nice. Where did you get them? Can you post a link?

Did a search on Ebay for Spyder accessories. They say not for the F3 or any of the 15's but I compared the key on my F3 with an 08 GS, and a 2011 RT and there is no difference in the keys so will work on any Spyder

JUST about big enough to allow the keyring through...
It might even have only been a 1/8" bit...
If you take the bit in your hand; you can actually poke it right through the key when you hit the right spot.
The hole is already there! nojoke

I have one of those key holders. I would be reluctant to drill even if you can avoid electronics. That would be an excellent place to let water to sneak in and cause may Electrical problems.

The chip is completely encased in plastic...
I wouldn't have DARED try it; if I hadn't seen how the chips are sealed-up.
