There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Had my 3000 mile service today on my 2015 red ltd. $137.00, Hard to beat that, so am now ready to hop on and head out to Spokane, Wa. next Thursday. Will probably be on the road for about three weeks with my good buddy on his Goldwing. So if you see a red Spyder and a black and silver Goldwing, together in Co, Utah, Idaho, Montana and Washington. Give us a wave. Not sure about route on the way back yet.

For what it's worth, Pro Caliber in Vancouver Washington, the 3k service on a 2015 RTS is $390-something, and that's after a "10%" discount for being a Spyder club member.

Granted, they did a great job, but did charge 3 shop hours (and magically got my spyder back to me in about 2.5) and a bunch of other fees plus an oil change kit, and there were absolutely NO issues when I picked it up.

I recently had my 3000 miles service and my dealership cost was $293.00, but I put the good Synthetic oil in mine. Charged me 2 hours labor.

On my 2014 RT ( 1330 engine ) cost zero !!!.......If you can learn to do this yourself, you can save a bunch. Plus because I did it , I absolutely know it was all done. If you have a Great Dealer that you can TRUST , I envy you................just sayin......Mike

Great prices

New to forum, just got my first 3000 service done. Was charged $478.79. Looks like I may need to research more options. This was the dealer I bought the Spyder from.

So I guess they are giving oil & filters out for free these days. Tell me where so everybody can come get the free stuff.

3000 mile check up

some dealers are doing an oil change and calling it it a check up.
look in your owners manual and see what is suggested.
i was able to watch the teck do mine and check off each item that was in the owners manual, check all fluids, codes, grease chassis, check belt, (mine needed to be adjusted) plus lots more.
He worked on it for 2 hours. My bill was @ $300.

all check ups are notthe same. ask for what the book suggests!

Thanks for listeming, Carl

I made a copy right out of the owners manual on what should be checked during the 3000 mile service and gave it to them. I also gave them the Dimple drain plugs to replaced the oem drain plugs.

Had my 3000 mile service done yesterday at Sawgie Bottom, the new dealership in Alexandria, LA. They did a fantastic job, gave me a copy of the checklist showing everything that was checked as well as anything they had to adjust or add fluid to. The price was a very fair $186 including tax. Great dealer!

I had my service today and the cost was $226 and I did not get a copy of anything they did. I wished I had asked but after waiting there for 3 hours I was just glad to get out of there. Their service lists two items oil and shop supplies whatever that means. I'm thinking that I am going to learn to do the oil change myself.
