Good morning SpyderLovers. Just a quick post to let y'all know I will be leaving for Ottawa tomorrow (Friday, May 22) so I may or may not be able to get on line for a few days to check in to see how things are going. I will be running in the National Capital Marathon on Sunday after training for it over the past 17 weeks.
I have gotten in touch with SpyderLover Monique in Ottawa. We are planning to get together on Saturday morning to get some pics of our Spyders together at the giant Spider statue outside the National Gallery. See the attached pic or Monique's avatar.
Wish me luck on Sunday. I won't be setting any course records, just aiming to finish the 26.2 miles upright and smiling!

Thanks everybody, for your well wishes. It really gives me a psychological boost knowing that I have so much support, even from those of you I have never met! I know the Internet has a dark side, but this is very much a positive aspect of the world wide web.
Dudley, I didn't know about Monique's alarm, but I will be sure to ask her about it. :thumbup:
