• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3 factory bags

I got my F3s yesterday and have a pair of factory saddlebags waiting to get put on today after work. Question on the locks for those that have them- do your locks line up in the same position when locked?

The pair I have have 1 parallel to the bike when locked and the other is perpendicular (-l not ll or =). Has me a bit batty since I am type a.

Nope... They are like you said and not similar. (One other thing to watch for. On my left side bag,
when you twist the internal dial to engage the arm... mine works it's way backwards a bit during
a drive.)

Now, they can not come off if that happens because of the black flappy things on the mounting tabs.
I kinda wish the made some sort of ball-style-detent to make it a more positive engagement). I may
lookin into some other "mod" to handle that.

Got my F3 last weekend and noticed the same situation as you concerning the lock positions. Bugging the heck out of me for some reason so I attempted to reposition the one that is not in-line with the bike...nope! The way the holes are punched in there ya can not do. I think a guy would have to remove the tumbler from the housing a reposition it accordingly. Just put it back together for now. What a deal on $1300 bags ! Just don't get it...

Installed mine tonight- they latch and lock fine.

Good news on yours. (I do really like them....very stable when mounted and look nice).

I did contact my dealer and they said they will correct the issue. (I mentioned the entire locking part
is riveted in from behind, accept for the control dial inside). They asked me to send a quick video
on the comparison... which will be easy. The bad side just flops loose for that 1/8 turn at the end vs
clicking in a final position.

Mine are fine:
