    Default GIONG IN TODAY

I'm going in this morning to have full knee replacement surgery. I'll be out of it for a couple of days but the shop will still be running full steam and processing orders. Looks like my riding is pretty much over for this season, but next year's should be pain free Then I'll get to.........

    Ride in comfort,
    John

Good luck on your surgery. I've had serveral friends that have had that done also, and they are now very happy campers. You'll do just great.

Best wishes for a successful surgery, John. You're gonna love the new hinge once recovery is complete. Do what the doc and the physical therapist say.

Here's a tip for when you know you won't be able to ride for a while.

Take your seat off and strap it to your work stool in the house in front of the TV so you can watch cruising videos in the saddle.

Pro-Tip: Put fans on both sides of the TV for a wonderful knees in the breeze effect.

    Heal quickly!

Best wishes and enjoy your new knee! I am 1 year out now from double knee and what a difference. They continue to get stronger every day. My surgeon says these newer knees are being studied and are projected to last 30 - 40 years.
You will be up and on it tomorrow and get pt twice a day if you can. Those iced knee wrap machines help alot. I kept them on for months, when needed. You will be riding sooner then you think. PT and strengthening are important, so get out and have fun.
