welcome!! I too am a newbe, have had my sts yellow for two weeks. I've been an adventure rider my whole life. Really love the spyder. I'm having a little idleing problem but dealer thinks it's miner, going in this week.My first ride out I got the thumbs down, the middle finger and swerved at. At first i was upset but than i realized i was on the greatest machine on the road and just smiled to myself. good luck with ur new ride... and read the do's and don'ts on this forum it helped me alot !

yep I've heard it before, but if you ride it don't matter what you ride, and I tried the Harley trike and well didn't like it too stiff.....

What is this thing with the Navy and motorcycles? The navy was my primary health care provider too! My big problem was respective cubital tunnel syndrome from a using my elbows to much. I sold my GW in 96 and got the Spyder in 2011.
