New Ryder but already HOOKED!
I just got my Spyder three weeks ago. I've already put 1,000 miles on her already and loving every minute of it. Had some withdrawal this past weekend because of the rain, where I couldn't get out on the road but I made up for it yesterday and again today. Never thought that I would be riding a motorcycle. I was always afraid of the two wheel types. I have issues with my back, neck and arms stemming from my military service and never thought that I would be able to ride, without major discomfort, any motorcycle. 'Then along came the Spyder, creaping up besider her' and WOW! A motorcycle that a Disabled Veteran could safely and comfortably ride!! WOOHOO!!! Like I said in the title: I am HOOKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just thought I'd say hi to you all. Looking forward to many long rides and meeting new friends.

Thanks for the welcome. My husband and I did go up to the meet and greet at the Tail O' the Pup on Thursday. We only got our Spyders a few weeks ago and we weren't able to register for the event. We headed back home after the heavy rain stopped, so we could make the 45 minute trip home before it rained again. Next year we'll be there the whole weekend... maybe even get a hotel room, so we can stay right in town.

Though from the Adirondacks and only 55 miles away, we were in the same boat and didnt purchase my Spyder until a couple of days before the event. I had a previous commitment on Saturday, but the forecast of rain (being inexperienced) deterred me from participating in the other days. I am looking forward to next year. Hopefully, we will have added the 2nd Spyder to our family.
