I had my first RS/GS up to 114 on the GPS. It was suppose to be limited to 110 MPH but apparently it was not. I was reading 120 on the speedo. It seemed like it could have gone further but I just wanted to test the 110 limit .

2008 GS..... had her up to 128 according to speedometer. GPS would have clocked it closer to 121 I'm sure......
After putting CHAD windshield on I couldn't get her above 115.

Weighs slightly less then Mars rover - Curiosity. And I know that approached Mars at around 13,000 m.p.h.
So using linear logic, I suppose it would be something less then that but still over 10,000 m.p.h. would be my best guess.
I assume you meant dropped from space? Or were you just thinking of a road? Or the Salt Flats?
You need to be more clear. Maybe in a Thelma and Louise moment we could get a better idea of how fast one will travel if you mean all three wheels have to be touching earth (at least at the beginning of the trip).

Not sure
about mph, but have had my RSS to 195kms per hour. so probably around 115mph. And I might say it felt very stable and as safe as you could feel at that speed

I think another great song is the live version of Freebird especially towards the end of the song.
Now my question, previously my spyder went 100 mph. But lately it will not go over 85 mph on flat roads. There has been no change in the windshield, tires, stock engine before and now. I have had the spark plugs/wires replaced when there was an arc. Bike has 33,000 miles.
There is a steep grade near where I live and while traveling up the grade previously the spyder would still be accelerating by the time it got to the top of the grade and would be doing 85 mph. Now it seems like it is barely making it up the grade at 55-65.
Any ideas or suggestions.

After adding the flux capacitor it will only go 88 mph.
Happy Spyder owner

RSS speed
On our way to Durango we stopped at the Bonneville salt flats for a run out there. So, on or about the flats, not saying where, my RSS speedo said 124 while the GPS said 119. The wife had her RT up to 101 on the flats.

Other great music for WFO assaults on your licenses:
Golden Earring: Radar Love
Sammy Hagar: I can't drive 55 (Whats else???)
Ted Nugent: Stranglehold
Blue Oyster Cult: Cities On Flame (With Rock and Roll)
Deep Purple: Space Truckin'
Aerosmith: Back In The Saddle
Ten Years After: Woodchopper's Ball
There's others, but these can usually get the juices pumping fast enough to get the loud grip twisted!
