Take Delivery Tomorrow
I pick up my Lava Bronze RT Limited tomorrow. I received my first mods for it (thanks Lamonster) and I don't even have it yet.

I took a couple of pics at the dealer while it was getting assembled.

Thanks for the spyder welcome.
I'm still crossing my fingers that I can pick it up today. I got a call from the salesman last night. Apparently while the technician was making the final checkout of my spyder, he noticed that it wasn't idling correctly. After troubleshooting, the throttlebody appears to be the problem and BRP is overnighting a new one. If the tech gets the throttlebody today, I should be able to ride it home this afternoon.
I guess the good from this is that the tech seems to be thorough with making sure the spyder is in top shape before I take delivery. I am also happy that the salesman was up front with me about the situation and didn't keep the problem from me. So far I'm liking how the dealership has treated me during the entire buying experience.
Hopefully nothing else fails anytime soon.

After taking a day longer waiting on the throttle body part to arrive from BRP and another day of thunderstorms and tornado watches, I finally was able to pick up my spyder today. Here is a pic of the spyder loaded on my trailer getting ready to head home from the dealer.

Was your throttle body part on a recall, because I just purchased (last week), a 2012 RT Limited Lava Bronze and I would like to know if there is a recall
on this model/year?

Never mind, Next time I'll read the whole thread before I post. I read that it was an idling problem, OK, I'm out.

I too was wondering the something .
With all the TB issue on earlier models, I am hoping that the we don't still have TB issues in 2012.

I don't know if the throttle body was part of a recall or not. All I know is that I saw the tech uncrate my 2012 spyder to start assembling it. I was going to pick it up a couple of days later, but the tech found my spyder wasn't idling right. He ordered a new throttle body that fixed it.
I took it out for a spin this afternoon and loved it. It was overcast and had rained a short time earlier. The roads were dry for the most part, but I could still smell the rain in the air.
I still need to ease up on my handle bar grip a bit, so it doesn't dart around so much while driving down the road and I have to get used to not having a hand brake. I have an ATV, so cornering doesn't seem to be a problem. I'm having problems cancelling the turn signals too, but from the sounds of it on the forums, so are a lot of other people. The turn signal seems to cancel fine when I turn a corner, but not so much when I'm changing lanes.
I know I'll get the hang of it after I put more miles on it and I'm looking forward to doing that. I couldn't stop smiling and noticing all of the looks that I was getting on it. It is a good thing that my spyder has a windshield because I would have been eating a lot of bugs with my huge grin if it hadn't.
