Which should I get?
I'm going to replace my gauges. I know one is going to be replaced with a voltmeter. What should I put in the other location? I have determined a radar detector would be too much of a pain to deal with. I don't use one in my cages, so not having one on bike bike is no big loss. Wouldn't mind an Eco (fuel economy) sensor, or even a replacement gas gauge, but they not have one in this style.

gauges
I put a coolant temp gauge on one side because I have to stop to count the little yellow bars on the stock gauge. I put a gas gauge on the other side. I don't have any trouble reading the dark blue gas leds, but again, I do have to stare at it for a time to figure out the gas level. With an aftermarket gauge, a quick glance tells the story. (full sweep) I had to do some experimentation to get the gas gauge to work correctly but it's not hard once you know what to do. I can relate to those who don't care if they have a gas gauge. I never had one before and just used mileage. The temp gauge was straightforward to install.

Nice gauges. I put a voltmeter on the right and a power socket on the left.

I sure like the idea of a 12V. outlet there. Hope to get one installed at SpyderFest.

I put a digital voltmeter on the left side and a digital ambient air temperature gauge in the right side. I found the installation of matching gauges seem to better balance out the dash area and looks best to my eyes.
