    Default Elka Shocks

Alrighty guys - you can quit teasing about my upside down shocks! Mr. Mechanic put them in right. He also put on the protectors. What a difference all that made. If you don't have Elka shocks on your Spyder, you need too! I live on a 1/2 mile dirt road and coming in today I didn't feel much of anything on the road. Very comfortable!

    Default Elka Shocks

I had originally put Elka Shocks on last June. At Spyderfest 2011, when John from Elka saw them he determined that they had a Spring Rate of 250lbs/in. He said that I should have 300 lbs/in and said that he would send me a set of replacement springs. True to his word he sent a pair of new springs that arrived just before I took off for Kansas City. threw the springs in my trailer and headed to KC via Cuba. Once at Cowtown, Pitbull (Len), said that they could install my springs for very little. They installed the springs in about 20 min for $25. When I hit the road, it was like night and day. Those Cowtown Dudes are a CLASS ACT. They have to be the best dealer in the country. The stiffer springs worked like magic. She corners MUCH better now. I can't wait to try her out on the Dragon when I get to Maggie Valley. I'll be leaving for MV tomorrow.
    See y'all there.
