Default I CAN SEE, Thank You

Well Tuesday I had my lens implant surgery on my single eye that has vision. I went in armed with prayers from over 100 of you and your families plus additional support from many of the 1200 viewers of my prayer request thread.
I needed every ounce of strength from your prayers and the surgeon needed every prayer for her guidance and skill. My eye socket is apparently much more deep than normal so the surgery took twice the scheduled time but ultimately worked. The recovery will be lengthened due to the length of the surgery so I won't really have clear vision for a week or more but I can see!!

A big boost for me came when she said there is a 95% chance that I could ride in the BRP Onwers event in Daytona on March 12th. That really boosted my confidence and outlook!! I made the reservation as soon as I got home from her office today after my follow up visit.

Thank you all so much for the support.. I can't find the proper words to tell you how much your prayers and support meant to me and I can't imagine now I could have coped without them... Again thank you. YOu are a great extended family.... Hal

My thoughts were on you this very morning when I booted up the site. So glad to hear the surgery went well and that the outlook is good.

Glad the Doc came through for ya! It's amazing the things they can do to repair these 'prone to breakdown' bodies of ours!
