Default Got an hour of therapy in today!

With the heatwave hitting 50 degrees today I was able to get an hour of Spyder 'therapy' in today.

    Did that ever feel GREAT.

No better way to shake off the winter blues !

Ran great, pulled hard and steering was fantastic.. but I for sure am 'wired' like the Sammy song--- cause I just can't drive 55 !

    Thumbs up

    So, it's not just me

Seems like 80 is just a comfortable speed, at least on my RT-S.

SPYDER THERAPY, YA JUST GOTTA LOVE IT

Glad you got some seat time in. Guess the Winter Weather makes you appreciate the ryde even more

Good for you Firefly. What he didn't mention was that the winds were honking at 30 - 40 mph all day yesterday. It is back to winter tomorrow, ick.

Yes, its was pretty good weather for riding in Philly this week. Kind of chilly at certain points of the day, but Friday was awesome riding around in the evening.

Yeah the wind was viscous over my way yesterday. I picked up my spyder from dealer about 6:00pm and made the 24 mile ride home. I wasn't too bad but my legs were burning. I just had my jeans on with no long johns or anything. If there had been less wind and I had been going slower than 80 mph that may not have been a problem.

Horrible wind here now...wouldn't ride in this...

I remember last year I rode over the Bay Bridge in over 50mph winds...there were warnings before getting to the bridge...I was getting thrown all over the place...not fun! I was coming home from the dealership so I had to do it.

For those who rode today... WAY TO GO! We are parked for now. The rains just won't let up and there is so much accumulation on the roads now that I barely made it home last night. There were a few times there where I actually got nervous; spent almost half the ride either sideways or using the front tires as rudders!

Had to be at work this morning @ 0700 so I made the call and drove in. 14 will be parked until this storm passes by.

We have had absolutely gorgous weather here in Mid Mo. I took the RT out for a " short" run the day it got up to 55 or so. Snow still on the road with melting so had MUD too. BUT I went anyway. Got back and got stuck 1 foot from the apron to my gagage in the ice and snow there. Sooo get out the shovel!! Finally got her in garage. Haven't been out since as I ended up with a really bad cold and just getting over it and YOU KNOW the weather has gotten back to cold!!! Rain yukadoo. I REALLY!!! REALLY !!! don't like Winter!!!! BUT redeming thing about Missouri is that Winter isn't 5 or 6 months long, only about 3 AND THAT THREE IS UP!!!!!!!

My daughter came home last night, and was complaining that it was warmer in Missouri (Ft Leonard-Wood). Kept complaining that it was cold, and she needed a jacket, LOL. I told her to be "Army strong", and she said I am, but cold "Army strong"

It is worse by morning. After 3" of heavy snow, we got 1/2" of ice. More snow is supposed to follow, but there is another slug of freezing rain headed this way, first. We lost power a couple of times during the night, but we still have juice this morning. Many are not as fortunate. North of here it was a foot of wet snow. Nancy' had school cancelled due to no power at the high school...and the roads. No riding in SW Michigan this morning!

We got lucky and didn't get any of the ice but we did get about 8" of the white stuff. We have one of those whole house generators with an automatic transfer switch but it wasn't needed. The roads are still a mess here and there is talk of more snow overnight.
