Spyder Sightings

Geri and I were enjoying some backroads and small towns this past weekend, trying to get our first 600 miles in before the bike was dropped at the dealer for service. We were on Rt. 106, heading from Gregory and Unadilla to Stockbridge when a silver Spyder went past in the opposite direction. Our first Spyder sighting.

Hope there are many, many more.

Last Sunday I was riding South with four Harleys on PA 32 twisting around the Delaware (one of the great roads/rides ever) Silver RT five bikes ahead of me ; passed a silver RS going North on PA 32; Then passed a red SE 5 just outside of New hope ..
Most I have ever seen at once ..

Saw a blue RT at Bear Creek Park. It was parked behind the tennis courts. I was under the pavillion by the horse shoe pits.

Saw a Silver RS parked at Muskegon Bike Time around 1:00 pm today...8,000 to 10,000 motorcycles and 3 Spyders, we'll catch up someday!

My first time being on the highway with my Spyder this morning and I saw my first other Spyder. A silver RT riding 2 people going up 95N around Wilmington DE.

Saw a red Spyder today on 422. Was with 2 bikes and a trike.

I was heading north on Hwy.51, south of Pana, Il. Met an RTor RTS heading South in the company of a 2 wheeler about 5PM Sunday.
That was the only Spyder sighting on the trip from Cambridge, Il. to Paris, Tn. and back.

BF saw a black RT heading west on 42 in Apple Valley this evening. I missed it. I assume it's not anyone from here since I've posted all my sightings and never had anyone say 'yeah that was me'... :P

A co-worker said he saw 3 on hiway 80 around Sacramento, Ca.

Said they looked like they were being bounced around a lot. Ask about the windshield, if they are all that small. Told him there are options.
Don't know if that was the problem or the Bad roads here in CA.

Members here know what I mean. Bay area, Sacramento, central valley mostly suck.

Not a Spyder owner.

Haven't even ridden one. ( Thanks Speed Sports and East bay Motor sports)

I Passed what looked like a RS-S last night at around 11:30PM, on ST RT 104 between Stringtown Rd and Frank Rd. Was following closely a 2 wheeler...

May have been a silver RS, it was dark and we passed at 60+ mph....

Last Sunday the 25th of July, I passed one silver RS going through the twisties on the Blueridge Parkway between Asheville and Boone NC.

I've been the only one so far here in Tucson, AZ lately. Haven't seen any others for a long time here. Too hot to ryde right now maybe? Or maybe they all got smart and rode north to escape the heat!

Well just this morning, in the same spot, with the same two wheeler, i saw a silver RT riding two up... Maybe it was the same folks from last night, and I just didnt see so well...

Spent the last 2 weeks cruising through Pa. and didn't see one other Spyder.

Got back to Vt and saw 3 right off, one single on Rt 15 and two together on Rt 105.

On 7/29/10 I saw a Black RT with temp plates at a restaurant and stop for dinner. Met a nice couple from Harvard, IL and visited for awhile. Suggested that they signup at Spyderlovers.com. We may see them here soon.

Saw two silver Spyders today. One headed eastbound on US 30 between Chambersburg PA and Gettysburg PA. The other was headed north on I-81 near the WV/MD lline

Friday night MR Honda Bike Nite, Asheville, NC two gray, one red and one yellow. Thanks to MR Honda for putting on a great event.

Saturday afternoon, 8/7 around three thirty, two spyders heading toward Fontana on 28, one yellow, one blue or black?? hauling the mail. (Lamonster maybe) ran up behind another spyder a mile out of Dillard, (blue or purple followed by a bike the same color) headed toward Waynesville on 74-441.

saw a black RT in a parking lot in Grandiew Hts, OH... it was near the intersection of Grandiew Ave and 5th Ave.

It was a beautiful piece of machinery...

Saw a silver/black Spyder with a couple of motorcycles heading north on Hwy 61 near Two Harbors on August 7. We were heading south back to our motel.
