I just ordered this to replace my TomTom XXL. No more plastic bag needed in the rain.
Looks like it has a Ram Ball mount too. Blue tooth, LIfe time maps.

I'm looking at the one right below the 396 on the site, the 595LM. That's top tier! Selling for $550. That's refurbished pricing.

Just jumped on the 595LM. Huge upgrade to my old 550. These folks are selling the 595LM new, not refurbished at $549.99 to your door (depending on whether they hold taxes for your state). That's refurbished unit pricing! Can't. Stop. Farkling.! Is there a support group?!

I believe I have it's predecessor, the 395. It works great, easy to use. Of course all GPS's need supervision. I set up a semi-permanent roost for it with the enclosed equipment and and some RAM extensions. It looks like the 396 has a feature or 2 the 395 doesn't, price is about the same.
