Anyone been told this about top speed why it won't go above 105 mph

Question... Did Teddy ever look at his watch to determine if he had any "Lost time"... I'm thinking Teddy was cruisin along at about 40-45mph....., minding his own business..., Enjoying the cool breeze... Then BAM!!! UFO Sucked his little azz into the mother ship at 200mph. Probe was too big, so it dropped poor Teddy back down at about 178mph... Next thing you know, Teddy gets home, looks at his display, and says "DAMN.... I didn't know I was moving so damn fast... I GOTTA take pics of this..."

From the pictoral evidence, I wouldn't say your too far off the target about him having 'Close Encounters' with 'Visitors'

My top speed is 123 (on the Speedo/113 crossing a CHP lazer), and Doc Doru has the world record, laid down at the Bonneville Salt Flats, of 123 and change.

Had mine up to 109 today at 8200rpms. Bike just didn't seem to have much left to over come the drag. That is with the Calsci tinted shorty windshield so it might do a few more mph with the stock shield and the driver in a full tuck laying on the handlebars.

not just to say it, i am over 300 pounds and today i was trying to catch up to my 2 friends and i got my rt up to 102 MPH and it felt like it still wanted to keep going, so who said 105 is top speed

You know I'm not real sure, I've only hit the rev limiter maybe once and was not looking down. I normally shift at about 8800 rpms because the bike just falls flat after 8500rpms and redline shows to be 9000 on my bike. I would bet the limiter is right around 9300 or 9500rpms.

I had mine up to 87 on a ride during Spyderquest. Had no problem handling the speed but I think it was fast enough for me.

And that was probably when you were with me. I wont say what I topped at, but is was a different day up there. Just tuning up for my nascar ride.

We did make some speed. All I can say is I'm glad I had me wheel alignment done before, not sure I would have liked going that fast without it.
