Default Which Event are you Most Looking Forward to This Year?

Ok, I love polls. They are a lot of fun, don't cost anything and they change all the time which makes it interesting.

This poll requires that you pretened that you can make all 3 of the listed events. And in this potentially ficticious world of complete freedom, I'm simply asking which event you would have the most anticipation for based on whatever criteria you have for getting excited about something.

Now Lamont's BBQ is listed here and I know we all love him very much. But you can't let this bias your vote or you will skew the numbers!

Votes are anonymous so your vote will not be made public, though you are certainly welcome to give your reasons if you like.

not a fair ???? I picked Spyderfest...because I have never been and it comes 1st on the calendar.....Owners event will be awesome riding and getting to meet new and old friends...Spyders in the Redwoods will be a blast..my brother is coming from Washington to meet us....Lamonster's Bar-b-que is last on our calendar....but will be wonderful.....Spyders in the Adirondacks is not on our list this year...maybe next year we'll go east

Lamont BBQ . Its a 7-10 day event for us and enjoy the awesome roads down that way. Then SpyderFest because its the first rally for us and gives us a chance to blow the cobwebs off. Then its a toss-up between Americade, SITA and Ontario Spyder Riders Owners event in Niagara Falls .

Since I can't make any of them, my vote would be none of the above, sorry.

I know, it's a tough choice for me too. Just throw down what comes to mind first. It's only a poll!

Just my opinion but I chose what I think are the big 3 Spyder related events. I've left out several events that may be #1 on someone elses list but not for any specific reason other than that.

You didn't read the conditions of this poll which included....

"This poll requires that you pretened that you can make all 3 of the listed events."

So everyone is eligible to cast a vote whether they plan to go or not.

Maybe I did not word my poll correctly. It's not about which one you are going to attend, if any. It's about which one, if you were going to attend all 3, would you most look forward to.

Maybe this concept just isn't going to work....

    1 SpyderFest
    2 Lamonster's BBQ
3 BRP in Durango cause it's so far, but I'm planning to go.

The event is NY is out of the question because the states traveled in
including NY are not 2A friendly.
All the other events and states traveled to and through are 2A friendly.

Since the only one there is any possibility of going to for me this year is spyders in the redwoods, that's the one I'm looking forward to most.

    Default BBQ

Lamon'ts BBQ is the closest to me and since I have only been to one event (Biketoberfest) I think I'm looking forward to the BBQ the most.

Stupid questin but was is 2A friendly?

Never mind I think I answered my own question. I can't imagine limiting my travels to states that allowed me to carry a gun.

If I were able to attend, it sure would be Lamonts BBQ. How the heck can you top 30-40 or more guys with tools hanging out working and helping others with thier Spyders. Dont forget, he built that huge Carport as a work Station, plus he has a 2 car garage and lots of land to tear up....... Crank up the music, grill some burgers and lets get dirty.

Didn't the cops at Spyderfest have a DWI checkpoint set up last year to make life hard on thier guests ???
Didn't a Spyder get stolen near the owners event last year ????
    Just Sayin .........

    my vote would be: Spyderfest
    Lamont's BBQ
    BRP owners event

The reason I put Spyderfest first is because the vendors that will be there and talk to Cowtown about upgrades, trade-in, mods etc.
Drive safe and see everyone there.

The DWI checkpoint during Spyderfest was set up in front of the High School that was having their prom that night............I think they were more concerned about the kids not the Spyders. We barely slowed down and they waved us through.

    Now for the poll:
    1. Spyderfest (but we have to "work" alot to insure that everyone else has a good time)
    2. Owners Event at Durango
    3. Lamonts BBQ

My Ranking is off. Because for me its like this.

Owners Event (has nothing to do with the event, but everything to do with the drive there and back)
Spyderfest (Again a distance and chance to see stuff)
Lamonts BBQ (Its just in my backyard)

Now if it was the events in relation to the vehicle themselves and not the ride there and back:
Lamonts BBQ (Im with Randy on the tearing my machine apart and learning more, my engineering nature has me already doing this)
Spyderfest (More oddities to mess with and information to consume)
Owners event (I know next to nothing about this at the present time)

Now if its the party that is happening while I am there:
Spyderfest: Im staying there, drunk will happen
Lamonts BBQ: Im affording this by most likely driving to and from per day (2 hours? that is like 15 bucks a day)
Owners Event: I have no information on this event, and usually dealer events arent crazy fun cause of legal beagels.

SO its all about HOW you phrase the question.
