10,000 miles in less than a year
When I bought my Spyder last April my son, the die hard Harley rider,. bet me that I could not log 10,000 miles on it in a year. Well here it is only February, 2 months shy of my year and today I crossed the 10,000 mile mark, so he looses. I did have to do it on 2 Spyders since my first one was tore out from under me by a lady who ran a red light and hit the first one in the intersection and tore off the whole front end on the 2011. I logged 8,721 miles on it and today I hit 1,300 miles on the new 2012 for a total of over 10,000+ miles between the two of them.

on winning the bet. Hope you have many more 10,000 mile marks. I heard 'somewhere" that the average motorcycle is driven less than 4,000 miles a year.
